You can import your customer accounts to accounting software, such as Thrive, using a .CSV file containing your customers. This makes it quick and easy to create every customer account at once in your new system. In this guide, you’ll learn how to import customer accounts to Thrive using our template CSV file.

How to Import Customer Accounts to Thrive

  1. Log in to Thrive and open the Sales module.
  2. Under the maintenance card, click Customer Accounts.
  3. At the top right corner of the screen, click the upload icon labelled ‘Import customers’.

Tip: We recommend using our template for uploading customers. In the ‘Import Customers’ window, click Download template CSV file - this will download a file containing the correct headers for importing customers to Thrive.
  1. Once you’ve added your customers, drag and drop the file into the upload area, or click the upload icon to upload your file.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Once Thrive processes the file, your customers will be imported to Thrive.
