Introduction to Delivery Dockets
A delivery docket is a transaction that accompanies a shipment of goods. It provides details about the contents of the shipment and serves as proof of delivery. You can generate delivery dockets from sales orders in Thrive using the transaction conversions feature. This guide will show you how to create delivery dockets.

How to create a single delivery docket
Note: Delivery dockets can only be created by converting a product type sales order. For more information on sales orders, see How to Create a Sales Order - Product Type
- On your active sales order, open the overflow menu, and click generate delivery docket.
- The new delivery docket will be populated with information from your Sales Order.
- Make any necessary edits - such as changing the amount goods delivered if this was a partial delivery.
- Click Save.
- You delivery docket will be created, with your Sales Order linked to, as the source.
Note: If this is a partial delivery, you will need to create another delivery docket to complete your sales order. You can repeat this process, and Thrive will add the remaining amount of goods to be delivered on the next delivery docket.
How to create multiple delivery dockets
- Select your orders to be delivered, using the checkbox beside each transaction.
- Use the action icon that is a van, labelled ‘Generate delivery dockets’
- In the popup, click generate.
- Your delivery dockets will be created, with each being linked to the original order.
