How to Generate Invoices from Delivery Dockets

Introduction to Generating Invoices from Delivery Dockets

Once you complete your delivery dockets, you need to send an invoice to your customer, as proof of the transaction being completed. You can easily generate invoices for deliveries in Thrive using our transaction conversion feature. This guide will show you how to generate invoices for a single delivery docket, or multiple.

How to Generate a Single Sales Invoice from Delivery Docket - Overflow Menu

Note: You can only invoice delivery dockets if they have the status ‘Completed’.
  1. Open the overflow menu for a delivery docket, and click Generate Invoice.
  2. This will populate the new sales invoice with details from your Delivery Docket.
  3. Make any necessary changes, then click Save.
  4. Your Sales Invoice is now created.

How to Generate Multiple Invoices from Delivery Dockets - Action Icon

  1. Select one or more delivery dockets.
  2. Scroll down to the action icons and click the icon labelled Generate Invoices
  3. ℹ️
    Note: If you have multiple delivery dockets selected from the same customer, you will get the option to choose how to generate your invoices

    • If you choose ‘One Invoice per Delivery Docket’, each delivery docket will have an invoice created.
    • If you choose ‘A Single Invoice for all Delivery Dockets’, a single invoice will be created, linked to every delivery docket you created. Each Line item in the Invoice will relate to an individual Delivery Docket.

    If your selected invoices aren’t from the same customer, you won’t have this option.

  4. Click Generate.
  5. Your Invoice(s) are now created.
